Thinking of leaving audit after my second busy season . My main interest in accounting was always the forensic line but got recruited for audit. Now I feel this is the best time to transition. Any advice for someone who wants to start with CPE route instead of CPA (did it a couple of time and did not pass) seeing it as a sign to go for my main interest. Also do I look for position as senior or just Associate. PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Go for FAR first, that module is voluminous and when your clock start ticking after you pass FAR, the three remaining one are easily manageable over 18 months that you have. I'd go for REG next, since the taxation half needs a fair amount of time if you haven't work in tax. AUD and BEC are relatively easier and you can take them next in whatever order you prefer. Good luck!
Thanks! :)
Definitely FAR!
Thanks, i did :) but i have to take all 4 :)
Agree! Do FAR first. Financial Accounting concepts and principles should relatively be the same in most countries, I would assume. REG is the hardest, since every country will have its own sets of taxation rules. And the tax credits change too, some are extended and some expire. You will need ample time to pass this. And if you don't, you can retake and should be able to plan well ahead before your 18 months expire.
check the requirements to transfer your license. Depending on what state you're in and which country you're coming from, you might not even need to take all 4 exams.
