If you are in pharma, what do you do for the MLR process?

Communicate the timelines, confirm the appropriate people will be available for the review, make sure you receive a copy of the revisions, make sure the routes are being done in a timely manner, confirm changed have been made, make sure submitter actually submits and upload correct files on deadline.

like

You are responsible to work with your account team to understand the needs of the MLR process for your client and ensure that folks on your team (creative, tech, medical /legal if you have a group) work together to submit and track changes that come out of the review. Rinse and repeat. That is a high-level answer but the more specific you are the more specific we can provide answers

like

What do you mean what do you do? You submit on time and adjust to their concerns. There’s no much leeway with MLR so you kinda just have to do what has to be done.

Sorry i didn’t understand the question completely

Proofread, medical (or copywriter) review and annotate. Submit with references.

Not sure about your question....However, dependent on the account, there are guidelines for each submission step. Your account manager or regulatory people should have this info. If you are doing the submissions, there are guidelines from the clients promo manager.

Any other in-house lawyers have to track time? I work for a provincial Justice department (Canada) and we have to track time. Admittedly it’s not as rigorous as private practice and there’s no “billable target” per se, but I have to admit it was kind of a downer to discover that after starting the job. I was kind of hoping to be completely free of having to track time.
Just wondering if this is a government thing or if it happens in the private in-house sector too.

I was in sales and trading (quasi front office) as an Associate with a big 5 and had done internships in sales and trading and equity research (both front offices) with a big 5. I recently started working for a big 3 credit rating agency (front office) as an Associate Director, I got this growth opportunity after working as an Associate for only a year. I am not keen on building a long-term career in credit rating. Therefore, looking for suggestions on outside opportunities I could explore.

I am currently interviewing for an in-house position and part of the process, if I get that far, is that they give you an issue for you to work through and then you present your response to a panel a few days later. Has anyone else been through this? What kind of questions/issues are typically given to a candidate? This is for a compliance position at an insurance company. Just trying to prepare ahead.

I have 4.5 yrs in Marketing Project Management - the last two have been working on a website that has earned over $20M in GP each year. I’m Scrum certified and have my CAPM. I’m on the fence about staying at my current company because of leadership changes. I’m considering asking for a title change to Senior Project Manager and a raise to $100k (currently making $85k mid level) and letting their response be the guiding decision if I stay or go. Does this seem unreasonable?
