Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.
Hi Sharks,
My technical interview with PwC went good and the very next day i got confirmation that I cleared the round and next round will be scheduled. But its been 3 weeks no communication i left my hope. And suddenly i got a call from HR and she asked for CCTC, ECTC, LWD all and said client round will be there. Now again its been an week.
Is it normal process or it’s getting delayed for me?
Should i move on?
I recently appeared for an interview (Data science) with Discover Financial Services
I could not understand 20% of the interview questions due to accent issues and answered them as per best understanding.
I think I might get a rejection.
Would it be a good to notify HR about what happned or should i wait for result?

I am currently an analyst at my company and interviewing at Facebook (Meta) at the end of the month. I’m a bit nervous / looking for ways to prepare because it would be an amazing opportunity. Does anyone have any tips or different ways that I can prepare for the process? It is for a Risk Assessment Investigator role (very similar to what I do now).
Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

You could try to slow things down, e.g. ask them to push out your last interview a week due to an "unexpected conflict." Or, you could contact your higher desirability companies and see if they can move faster.
The reality is that even if you get an offer from the "bottom of the list" company and then the better company gives you an offer later, you can always change you mind. You will burn a bridge at that company, but if you feel it is the right thing, it is your decision (remember that companies change their minds all the time).
Does anyone have a spreadsheet for this?
