Technology consultant with 3 years experience in big 4. Is the MIT Sloan LGO a good program? I am looking a program where I can mix business and tech courses while building a good network. Thanks!
How important is it to get your CPA in the long run/ outside of big 4? Would CFE be beneficial? I’m a forensics staff.
My friend was hired for the management consulting team in one of the big 4 for a new service line that was incorporated this year. He joined in April 2021. Since then he has been put on bench with no actual projects. Only training and few support projects without any actual hours. How do you think it will effect his career? Do you think he should start applying outside?
How's the corporate marketing function at ACN? SO being recruited from Big 4 internal marketing to comparable level at ACN. She's not loving second-tier status that internal roles seem to have at Big4

Does working in Big 4 Audit for more than 2+ years basically pigeon-hole you into the Partner or Corporate career paths?
Are there opportunities to take on medium term (6 to 12 months) international projects at big 4 or tier 2 firms? It's something my wife and I have wanted to do for a while, but I've only got a couple years left to make it happen before my kids hit school age (don't really want to make them switch school and then go right back).
What do you think some of the major consulting firms’ (MBB, B4, major T2 places) valuations are? ACN is ~$150B for reference.

My friend told me she plans on taking a sabbatical at one big 4 while she starts working for another. I told her she couldn’t do that but she won’t listen. Thoughts?
Any Big 4 Seniors (particularly EY) have experience quitting to “extern” at a nonprofit or startup then come back 6-12 months later? Is it fairly easy to boomerang if you’re a high performer?
Can someone give me an idea what a Director in tech at a B4 makes? MBA, 15 years experience, 7 years cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
I am an Audit S1 that wants to work in a B4 Forensics practice. Would it be best for me to accept an offer in Forensics at a much smaller firm (local, 150ish total employees) to gain experience and then try to move to B4 Forensics? Or should I stay in Audit and wait for B4 Forensics positions to open up? Please let me know your thoughts!
I have a couple big meetings today but I am cramping so bad I can barely talk. Idk what to do :(
Anyone here have experience working with Globant in the US? Interested to hear about culture, clients, work life balance, etc. Thanks.
Is it just my firm? I work at a boutique labor law/insurance defense firm. The partners expect me to cut my hour to their expectations, and then they cut even more. The real amount of time I put in ends up cut to 1/4 to 1/3 the total Example: billed 13hrs based on a “soft” formula for 2k page doc review. Partner slashed it to 4.4hrs. I can’t keep up with the min billable requirement. Am I just not cut out for this or is this just a poor billable system? I’m tired of being reprimanded for this
Considering an MD position at Accenture and need to give comp expectation, its on Strategy side. Of course its based on my own need and desire, but like to hear from (ex)MDs at Accenture if 400k sounds like a reasonable ask for base. And can anyone help me understand the difference between L4 and L3? For reference, I am a Senior Principal with almost 2 years executive industry experience post consulting. Thanks for any insights!

I make $4000/M after taxes and max 401K and spend about $2400 for all fixed costs (rent, utilities, etc). With roughly $1600 left, and with a strong goal of saving as much as I can, what are some recommendations on how I should allocate my money better. I know this is vague but need some better financial planning.
Question for Equity Partners: how much does the amount of billable hours you work yourself factor into your compensation? I learned that it’s a pretty significant factor at my firm which is part of what I think holds our firm back from healthy growth because Partners are too much in the weeds on their clients.
Can you negotiate your salary bump when you get a promotion? Have never been in the position before but hoping one’s around the corner soon...
Have an interview at EY for Internal Audit. Does anyone have any idea about the interview process or the team culture?
MBB alum: Has anyone, after leaving MBB, ever charged prospective candidates for their time and advice? You know all those super annoying unsolicited “can you help me get into MBB” LinkedIn messages, anyone ever say “sure at $X/hr”. Was this frowned upon? How much did you charge?
In a few weeks I’m transitioning from a client-facing consulting role to an internal role that’s not client facing. Looking forward to the WLB but a bit anxious about the pivot out of client work (will it be too slow paced, will I get bored, etc). Anyone have tips on being successful in this transition out of client work?
A non-consulting cloud engineer friend of mine is being recruited by Mckinsey digital. Does anyone here know if their work is any good for someone who is really into the tech and really not into generalist consulting? And how their digital practice compares to our tech cloud practice?
