If you are pretty sure you will accept an offer, do you send over conflicts info so they can get the process started? Or is it standard to wait until you accept the offer?

When I lateraled, I was given an offer contingent on clearing conflicts, I “accepted” the offer with this contingency, then I sent over info for conflicts. About 2 weeks later they emailed me saying that I cleared and that they considered the offer formally accepted and gave me the green light to give notice to my firm, I gave notice a few hours after receiving that email

I’d go ahead and send over your conflicts. Those can take some time to clear so might as well get the ball rolling.

Recently I got invited to an interview with a decent growing company. I work in Executive Search and I am thinking of switching to in-house recruiting. During the conversation the recruiter made some weird assumptions about my current job. The interview took longer than expected and I feel like I have not delivered well. Was I wrong to expect in-house recruiter to understand the differences and similarities between in-house-recruiting, professional search and retained executive search?

Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?

Hi friends, I got 69.34% from Imperial college from aeronautics with MEng. Will this hurt my chance for applying to MBB? I am currently working in Accenture as a first year analyst. Had summer intern in Accenture and one year of placement experience in a technology company
(Did terrible in first two year as I spent to much time/trying too hard to really understand what I was learning and did not leave enough time to practise past papers Lol, improved dramatically in last two years)

I was invited to an "Introduction Call" by a BCG recruiter. I had sent a cold email to a manager director with my CV asking for a call and apparently he shared this with her. This is all she told me.
Is anyone familiar with these Introduction Calls? Are they evaluative? Is it just a courtesy to the Senior Partner which generally won't lead to an interview? Any help appreciated.

What do you folks recommend for reporting taxes. Coinbase report using fifo has me making money and that’s definitely not the case because I send coins thru an exchange. Any Recs on how to figure out

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again. I’m torn because the opportunity is great but the stress was awful. Continued in comments…
