If you're looking for a new job and they want to interview you within the next two days, how do you discretely get the time off for it? I don't want to make it too obvious.
Looking for some advice.. I am a Tech Recruiter with over 10 years of experience in the agency world. I’m hearing some scary rumblings about my current company that I have spent my entire Tech Recruiting career with and I think I should start looking. Work/life balance, flexible schedule, unlimited time off, and great culture are most important to me. Any suggestions on where I should look/apply? I want to stay away from agency recruiting. Thank you!!
Going out of the country on pto for the next three weeks. DTE only lets me do up to two weeks in advanced. Is there any way to submit my timesheet for the third week? Or just do it when I get back?
Anyone done a trip to banff in July? Worth the trip from the US? Trying to figure out summer vacation :-)
Perks that would make RTO better: free food; covered health premiums; guaranteed bonus and no billable requirement but firm average around 1850; 20 BDs of vacation with no disturbances plus a vacation stipend; 2k tech stipend; free phone; 2k wellness stipend for massages and the like. Anything else?
Anyone negotiated starting with PTO balance already accrued? Expecting an offer soon but have a 2 week vacation planned in 2 months and really don't want to have to start with such a negative balance
Would like input on 2 offers I've got. I came from ACN strategy as an SM and looking to go back into consulting 20 YOE, 10 industry / 9 consulting:

Offer 2: Deloitte SM: 260K up to 36% bonus, 40K sign-on (target for travel is 50%) and more PTO
My SO and I will be long distance for 2 years while I’m in business school. I will be in the Midwest and they’re on the west coast. I’m super nervous because I haven’t done long distance before. We’re planning on 1 week/month (or something like that) of having them with me on campus. I will join them for holiday breaks. Can anyone offer advice? I really, really want to make this work.
Does Google do summer fridays? Are holiday weekends like July 4 well-protected? Dreaming of my exit from client services 🤤

New project starting in a week, want to provide special incentives to new team members - what "extra" things can be effective? (E.g. Gift cards, extra time off, food, etc...)
When you went to the Holiday party and the Director makes out with an Senior Associate and another Senior Associate hooks up with an Associate. Can't wait for that tension coming back Monday 💪🏽
If anyone is interested in joining FAAS Europe West and working on US focused markets, please let me know (seniors and managers) great benefits such as overtime, vacation and work life balance.
Hi everyone, I have been working at B4 since last October. I plan to move to other B4 in other office because of various reasons.
If I want to apply to other B4 as an experienced hire, should I have to wait till next October? Or can I apply early after finishing my busy season in March?
How much time off is everyone taking between now and the new year? Me: 2 weeks but I’m guessing others taking way more.
It it common for seniors in BR not to hear anything after turning in a resume and cover letter for job postings? People make it sounds like B4 experience is so awesome but ... Cont
Hear me out - Juneteenth is cool, but what would be even better is Emancipation Day on April 16th. It’s just a better timed holiday amongst the various options to celebrate the end of slavery.
It’s going down down down down down.
I keep reading about the costly, burdensome regs the Trumpistas are repealing. How about Independence for Advisory ppl? What is more useless than thinking my ethics is due to reporting my Venmo acct!?

Any car seat solutions for traveling but only needing to take a car to and from the airport (~10 minutes each way)? Up to now we always bring the car seat but it’s annoying to lug around. Kid is 4yo.
Do you or your coworkers take personal calls during the day? If your coworker is the one taking the call, does it distract you? I find it a little weird people can’t take the call elsewhere?
Anyone else wish people would shut up about pods? They are not some magical panacea for the the lack of in person school that is going to happen in the fall. If I don’t have those to watch my own kids during the week, I certainly cannot watch yours.
Republicans - when you saw politicians like Lindsey Graham or Cruz or Rubio who were vocally and unequivocally against Trump before he became 45, and then started completely bending over, how did you process that? Did you just think they were wrong before and repented or something?
Anyone at Kearney want to walk me through how you do a mega back door Roth IRA with your after tax contributions? I’m very confused .
