Sometimes I think I should have gone into environmental work but then I look at the pay and employment statistics, and think of having to go out in gnarly heat to do field work, instead of choosing to go out sometimes to volunteer, and I decide I'm happy with the law. If I could keep my pay and choose my work in some magical setting, maybe. With that power, I'd probably just choose to be a rich person working an hour a day doing whatever I wanted

professional basketball equipment manager

IT technician. Not sure why but I get a rush when I’m able to make a computer work after it’s been not doing something you want it to. And very little people interaction, which is a plus.

Would have studied Viticulture and Enology at Cal Poly or UC-Davis and gone into some aspect of the wine business.

Marine biologist

Ladies, love to hear your thoughts. I’m in my late 20’s with a handful of close gfs (most of them live far) but I have a history of losing girlfriends. I’m self aware to a fault and am very supportive/responsive but other than my core group, it’s hard for me to keep gfs around other than 6 month span. It’s happening to me again right now and it’s really hard, she’s going through something and pulling away/towards others when we have been VERY close before. Anyone else have this experience?

What sorts of SQL questions are typically asked in interview questions for senior data analysis jobs? Like is knowing SQL from freecodecamp enough or should I look into taking a course online?

I’ve unfortunately not gotten the chance to use SQL in my current position so I don’t feel like I have enough experience in it, but have experience in everything else (Python, tableau, storytelling, etc)

Looking for a Marketing/Graphic Design agency to help me create some quick sales materials and down the road develop some templates for social media and collateral for promotions, as well as some SEO for our website.

Are there any additional tax deductions that Partners can claim compared to regular employees? I hear of business owners being able to deduct so many expenses that corporate W2 employees cannot deduct. Since a partner is the owner of a firm, do they get the more expense deductions that regular employees do not get?

Our baby is due soon so we’ve made the decision that we will only have visits from vaccinated family members (not realizing it would be an issue) only to find out that my Dad will never be getting vaccinated, planned to lie about it AND asked other family members lie to us about his vaccination status too… when we found out and asked him about it, he started to FREAK out. Now I’m questioning if we’re being unreasonable… how have you guys been handling unvaccinated people meeting your newborns??
