From the outside, I always thought of PE firms to be well-oiled machines where everyone is working hard but with a clear purpose. Now starting at an LMM as a senior associate I feel kind of lost. I am a M2 at B4 FDD and don’t know how long i’ll be genuinely interested in this work. Currently debating rotating into a B4 IB associate role for a year or two, then moving to PE.
