Hello! I’m new to fishbowl and wanted to make my first post. I’m currently in the process of transitioning out of the Air Force and looking for a skillbridge opportunity in project management, preferably located in Tampa, Florida. A few companies I have on my list are Accenture, Raytheon Technologies Corporation and JPMorgan Chase What are everyone’s thoughts on those companies and how military friendly they really are?

Don't let the work determine your PTO. I took 4 weeks at once last year to go to Europe. This year it's spread out because I'm not planning anything big. The work will always be there.
If you have rough hours for periods of time I think it's good to take big chunks but break it out... the year I've done two one week vacations and a three week vacation. The one week vacations have been relatively flexible so if I have to push it up or back a week it's not a big deal to align with changes in timing, while my three weeker had flights booked five months in advance. If I didn't have the breaks where I disconnect throughout the year, I would have burned out quickly.
Break it up...2.5 weeks mixed with yr end holidays, plus 1.5 weeks spread wisely
I took 4 weeks off last summer and loved it. Traveled throughout Europe and came back to work refreshed and ready to take on another year. I have a feeling I'll do that every summer from now on (take off 3-4 weeks).
My thought is i should take 4 weeks straight since I'm doing project work; I can do the spread out thing once I'm in a more stable role. Thoughts?
