2020 college grad with a degree in organizational dynamics, alongside that I have my Google project management cert (still in progress).

So lately I have been applying for roles: junior business analyst/ project assistant/ project management entry/ project coordinator and have been hit with all rejections. It sucks but i must press on.

Now my question is, how the hell do i break into the work space?

How is things for experienced hire in cognizant for Associate - project in Salesforce Vlocity?
I have very basic knowledge of Vlocity and have been offered position in Vlocity technology?
How is the growth and work culture for someone coming from other comapany as experienced?
How much is probation period , how good to join in need to consider job security as well in congnizat?

Why am I doing work at 10:21 PM when I could be watching Vikings? Is it because I never got over my private practice need to please and fear of follow-up emails from clients?

I'm new to Fishbowl so please excuse me if I am in the wrong thread to post my job opportunity. I have a 6 month contract to hire, potential, with a major FinTech company looking for a Seasoned Software Engineer (Tech stack: Java, API, AWS, Spring Boot, React or Angular). Client is hiring in the following cities SF (CA), Scottsdale (AZ) and Chicago (IL). Pretty much remote but would need to go onsite when requested.

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

I'm in my 2nd week with Deloitte and things just seem a bit off. I've left my resource manager 2 emails , no response from him. Not been assigned a coach or an onboarding advisor yet .Is this normal ? Who helps me get assigned to a project ? When does the process start ? I can't be just sitting and doing nothing. What am I supposed to charge hours to this week ? I've gotten no guidance on that.

I attended a client interview last week and was selected for the same. Now they are asking to join within a day or two. I'm having my mom's surgery this week. How to safely refuse to join this client project for at least 10 days. I can't take leave for 10 days.

I have my last day this week and the joining in next firm after 15 days. Is it possible to extend my notice period by another 8-10 days in JPMC in case my manager agrees so that indo not have loss of pay. I am leading a critically important project...
The other firm I am planning to join is not letting me join early due to the BGC requirement.

Last week team dynamics took a turn for the worst (even tho in each retro the team always commend each other, you would think team work is great).
