Hi PM fam, recently received a PM offer from Microsoft. Been in consulting 4 years with almost 6 YOE total . I’m excited to finally be getting an exit and doing true PM work but concerned Level they want to bring me in at is pretty low L61/ PM2, how do I negotiate this based on my experience? Spent the last 2 years focused on product with various clients.Background is in CS also. Recruiter mentioned that because it’s industry, PM experience is a little different. But I don’t want to be lowballed

Is a daily 1.5 hour commute (total) worth a more supportive work environment and better benefits?
Thinking of jumping ship after just 6 months in a fully remote position for an in-house, in person job where expectation is 5d/week in person. Commute would be around 90minutes/day in interstate. Better salary, good 401k match, parental leave (20 weeks paid), 4wks PTO, and a very big name for the resume. 3 YOE. But I love the flexibility of remote work, so struggling to decide.

Got an offer for Sr. A.E selling SaaS. $150K base, OTE $275K and 20,000 RSU (5 years vest) but value of RSU is undisclosed since this is a startup.

How would you go about finding a remote AE role with a 100k base?

I have about 7-8 years of sales experience and have consistently out performed my OTE. I absolutely love my current role but I feel like I have out grown the company as there isn't a ton of opportunity to make more than I am currently making.

I opened up my LinkedIn to recruiters but all the offers are 60-70k base and 120-140k OTE. I am shooting for MINIMUM 80k base but ideally 100k or more.

What would you do?
