I'd quit my job, but I wouldn't retire I would be working on my own projects.

like

Retire of course! Go backpacking around the world. That's my dream.

I would absolutely retire. Why waste life working when you don't have to?

like

I would! I'd invest in a business model so I could make passive income as well. What about you?

like

I would, but also be sure to invest a portion of it to create a legacy for my children.

like

Nah, invest it first while working for a little while to let it grow more and THEN quit

like

If the primary condition is to get retired, then only you will get 10 cr, then I will retire and will do what I am thinking to do after my retirement now.

Why not 😁

Question, photo shows my current 401k investments & balances - should I roll my Vanguard Target 2055 Trust into a Roth IRA? Would there be any advantages to doing that? Or should I roll it into the S&P 500 Index Trust? Both balances are Roth 401k contributions if that helps. My income is also too high to contribute to a Roth IRA. TIA.

Looking for advice. I have maxed my roth IRA and will max roth 401k this year. No debt or major expenses. I have a lot (150k) sitting in cash. I was going to put most of this into a taxable brokerage account (index funds), but I realized I want a house in the next 1-2 years. However, I have no idea what price house is reasonable and all the other factors (down payment, property tax, upkeeping costs, etc). How can I get more informed? I don't want to end up house poor (cont)

How do you handle attraction in the work place. During my summer internship I was really attracted to this girl I shared a office with. She was way out of my league so I didn't even attempt to ask her out or anything. Plus you don't hookup where you vlookup. During one of the days she wore a really short skirt and I got a bit aroused. Since my housing was really close, during lunch I went home and fixed the issue. How do you handle being aroused at work?
