If you get selected in Accenture as experienced and after joining is it possible that you will not get any project and have to clear internal interviews? And stay on bench. Please suggest as this is my first switch.

2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.

Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.

P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.

I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

An observation: It’s very funny how junior (especially first year) associates working in transactional law can spend an entire deal screwing up signature pages, checklists, and redlines.... and then complain that it’s BS they’re “doing administrative tasks instead of legal work.”

To be frank I love to work with Accenture as the hike percentage is pretty decent when compared to other companies also I am comfortable working with Accenture. I took this decision because the terms are not good with my current manager. I am currently drawing 15.5 LPA including variable pay. TCS offering 20 LPA. Is there any retention policy available? If yes how much hike I can expect?
