If you go with the 1 phone option at PwC, who keeps the number upon employment termination? I imagine PwC does but just want to confirm.

Anyone recommend one phone versus 2?

You’re allowed to port the number out when you leave (you can also port your own number in)

1 phone it’s your number since it doubles up as your personal phone. 2 phones the firm keeps the corporate number since that plan gets terminated when you leave the firm.

1 phone is the better option since it reduces your personal expenses. I personally had 2 when I was there since I liked to pretend there some was sort of separation of work and life.

P6 - Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying.

You can do one phone but also get a separate free google voice number that rings to that phone. That way you can “publish” the google voice number for work and use the phone’s actual number for personal.

With this approach, you can have separate voicemail greetings for your work and personal numbers. You can also toggle the work line to go straight to voicemail without ringing — making it easier to shut off work after hours.

1 for me. You have to sign in with a personal iCloud account anyway even if you go the 2 phone route, so I didn’t see the point in carrying more than 1

1 phone for me. I hardly use it for work so it’s basically a free phone. Thanks PwC!

I have one. I am a few year from retirement and if you asked me 5 years ago I would tell you I would change my number when I retired but honestly I receive so few work calls, it seems to be all chat and Meet, I don’t think I will change it.

Most of the new iPhone models have the functionality to use two numbers. I have done it when I travel internationally. I think iPhone X and above have the two line option. I would just use one phone and two number for all those wants to keep things separate or have the option to turn off work phone.

Hi, does anyone have any ideas regarding dietitan salary in Arizona (Phoenix area). I asked for several openings there, and found out several of those full time RD positions pay by salary, not hourly. Even happens in an acute care/hospital setting. I thought RD position is paid by hourly pay in a hospital, at lease from where I leave now. Is it some Arizona thing?
