Oof, assuming you signed the offer letter? If so, asking for an adjustment will be very off putting and doubt it’ll be entertained. Lesson learned to do the research you’ve done ahead of time. Comp discussions don’t come naturally to most, so takes a few reps to get the hang of it and also have a sense of the market. Get em next time

It was my first full time offer. I started off as a contractor, and then I was low balled hard for a conversion. I countered with an offer I knew the rest of my team who converted were getting and they rescinded my offer but kept me on contract. I didn’t know the payband because it was not advertised and I originally thought it was higher based off of what my colleagues got but after they rescinded my original offer after the counter I assumed it was lower, it wasn’t until I saw on a job description for a new posting of my role weeks after accepting my offer the true payband.

Hi Fishes, My DOJ to Accenture is 15th April, 2022 as per the offer letter. Today I have received a mail from another HR ( Telent Coach, Lateral Recruitment Delivery, Accenture) to join before March 30th. Accenture can buy out my notice period, if my present company agrees. They are also ready to offer additional joining bonus other than the JB mentioned in my offer letter. I need your valuable suggestion's on this. Thank you in advance. Note: I am in process to speak to my present company.

Is an MBA even worth it anymore? I had started one a decade or so back but life got in the way so I’d be starting over. I look at job openings and so many still prefer an MBA over my 15 YOE but I’m already making $160-$165k after bonus so I’m not sure there’s even that much room for growth. Do you have one? Do you think it opens opportunities you otherwise don’t have?

Can anyone provide insight into Meta Lead Counsel/IC5 total comp? I have an offer (DC) for 210 base/15% bonus/185 equity over four years, and I’m wondering what others have received, how much I can negotiate, etc. I understand base and bonus may not be negotiable, but I’ve heard that technical folks have negotiated equity packages 3-4x the amount I was offered - so is there a lot of room there? Thanks in advance!
