Neither, knew a guy who did a 2 year rotation and he said it was great for like 2 months then you realize you’re stuck on an island going to the same 3 bars

How were growth prospects?

Cayman.

It is slightly cheaper, better island vibe, and you can own property there. You can own property in Bermuda but the stock is very limited and very expensive.

Bermuda! For the food, people and location.

Any advice on getting your foot in the door in the Big 4 companies or the like, ie: PwC, Deloitte, etc. I feel like I have the perfect experience for some of these posted roles but the online application process is a black hole. I’ve seen my resume ‘in review’ for 6+ months or more. Do people only get interviewed for these roles through networking?

Looking at exits into pharma and biotech. Have an opp at a biotech at the SM level. Total comp excluding equity is around $190k; RSUs vest over 4 years with annual refreshers, so first year equity would be around $6,200 and it would go up by $6,200 each of the next 3 years, plus whatever base bump I get. Very good benefits package.

They envision 2-3 years before I jump either to AD or right to D. Solid opp? Or hold out to go straight to director level?

London, UK. Currently work in real estate finance for a retail/commercial bank. 2+ years exp in debt (mezz and senior). Graduated 2018 from UK target in Real Estate (around 1/5 modules were finance). Looking to get out of retail and move to corporate. Think IB might be a push but MBD at GS sort of think more likely. I’m doing CFI modelling course to get my skills up to scratch. Any other suggestions? I think CFA has slim to no value in my situation but open to hear otherwise. Cheers

I’m the only associate (mid-level) in a niche transactional group. My team is slammed. My paralegal is on leave. My partners keep delegating work to me but then I have no one to delegate anything to. Nearly everything for 2 big deals is on my list. I’m so stressed that I feel like I can’t breathe most days. I need help but there isn’t any available. I’m starting to feel like quitting is my only option. Any recommendations?
