They got a sharp eye for the future, and they're highly adaptable to an ever-changing landscape

A great CMO knows how to harness the power of analytics and can clearly demonstrate the value they bring to the table

They stay learning, always.

someone who is able to think strategically, has a deep understanding of both marketing and advertising, and can communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal CMO is someone with a lot of marketing experience, who is able to lead and motivate a team, and who has a strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing.

Someone with a strong marketing background, who is also familiar with the company's products and services. They would be able to create effective marketing campaigns that align with the company's goals and values. Additionally, the ideal CMO would be able to build relationships with customers and partners, and work collaboratively with other team members.

Wanted to get an idea. My almost 10 month old baby never crawled not matter how much tummy time we did with her. She only wants to stand and is trying to walk (supported. She cannot pull herself up well and if she is on her back she doesn't know how to get herself up. She can roll over no issues. How can I help her? We do exercises to help her learn to pull herself up and roll her to the side to teach her how to move from back to sitting. I'm not sure how to help her. Ftm here. Anxiety!!!

Anybody have any resources/tools/exercises they can suggest to help with understanding strategy (i.e., high level thinking)? Nowadays a lot of my day-to-day involves strategic thinking and I’m more of a “in the weeds” kind of dude. It’s been challenging to see the bigger picture. Need to start thinking outside the circle and not so much about what’s inside. I’m fact, I want to start thinking that it might not be a circle at all.

How many folks out here actually work in an office/hybird situation? Feels like everyone I meet is working remotely

Had a remote member of our greater group of companies pass away suddenly last night. Will sit down with my in-person team tomorrow AM and then phone all my remote folks. They have not been closely connected directly but know of this person, on the other side of the country. It will be about letting them know, letting them react as they need, helping them have resources if they want, and being there. Honestly this is the hardest part of leading a team. Puts the rest of the stuff in perspective.

How likely is google to change its stance on returning to the office? I’m evaluating 2 offers right now - both are very similar (pay, job function, etc.) except google is in-office. I’m so comfortable at home and can spend more time cooking and exercising when I’m not commuting. Google is obviously a better brand than my other offer, but I’m not sure if that is enough to make it worth it.
