It can help if you set the notifications for important meetings/deadlines and turn off the notifications for everything else


I’ve turned off the buzz. Then my screen cracked and I didn’t wear it for weeks and I definitely felt stuff being missed. For me it’s simple features like staying ahead of meetings and calendar, setting quick reminders, timers, lists, and quick responses to texts

I love it for workouts, health tracking, etc. but I have to turn it on DND so I don’t feel the little buzz.

New bowler, just perusing and feeling so understood here!
Apple Watch is highly triggering to me on a number of levels:
1. Buzz or vibrations (sure, DND), 2. I don’t want (can’t remove certain stock apps, right?) littering the space, 3. Don’t really want to be that available unless I choose to text or call.

Only used now for tracking workouts.

Everything distracts me 😀

I am so tired of my sister and mom, and the pressure they apply on me to get married, 32 year old female and I have not met someone yet. I was in a relationship last year for a year and he turned out to be a very mean person and they now don’t trust me at all and want me to marry the first nice guy I go on a date with even if I have no attraction at all, and if I go on a couple of dates and I don’t feel it, they question my judgement. I feel like dying from the pressure.

Currently working at a 3rd year analyst at a major bank. Focusing on Corporate Treasury sales for the first 2 years and most recently in e-commerce product development (payment processor). Looking to transition into a product manager role at a tech company where I can work remotely.

Has anyone had similar experience or has any advice to share?

Got to love it when, after 3 straight weeks of pulling 14 hour days and successfully reaching a milestone, your boss says they don’t see you “caring” about the project. How fast can I leave?

Would you ever inform your coworker/managers about your ADHD? I’ve seen people becoming more aware of neurodivergency and wanting to listen to the experiences of neurodivergent people.


Anyone really struggle with lectures? I find it challenging to do online trainings when I have to listen to an hour of a recording of someone talking over a PPT.

I always end up 2x speed, which helps, but even then I manage to get distracted. I find it way more efficient to read materials on my own.

If anyone has strategies to make things like this more bearable I’m all ears! 🙏🏼


For people who take medication, what is your best/must have sleep aid supplement?


Has anyone found an optimal balance / tips & tricks consuming caffeine with Vyvanse 20/30mg?

I find coffee hard to give up but combining with Vyvanse almost over stimulates me even with small 20mg dosage.


I just found this bowl and I am really glad it exists. After a few years of managing my ADHD, the past few month have been really hard and I am suffering from anxiety for the first time since college because of it. Even just the few posts I have read have made me feel a little bit better.


Has anyone tried Peter Shankman’s ADHD coaching? Thoughts, experience?


How do you wake up and do the same thing over and over again every single day? I feel flawed that I can’t. I’m wondering if I should start taking my meds everyday rather than just the weekdays for work. Because the meds help me stay on track with chores and life but something about taking stimulants everyday…I feel so guilty…


Finally went to therapy and got diagnosed but considered about jumping on medication so focused on doing CBT to see if I can manage. Any success stories using CBT before turning to medication?

Anyone else get serious bruxism on Adderall?
I also don’t hate the feeling but I know it’s not good. Been on Adderall for 18 years so it’s def the right dose.


Started 18mg concerta last Monday. Got bumped to 36mg today, had two cups of coffee and cannot stop smoking hence feeling jittery, not anxious. Is it the caffeine or nicotine mixing with increased stimulants?

Any Deloitte fishes out there that have analyzed the health benefit options for Vyvanse coverage? Both me and my daughter take Vyvanse and I have been burned by plan coverage/prescription benefits in the past. I think the PPO plans actually end up cheaper, all other variables removed.

As someone with ADHD, have you ever asked for adjustments to the interview process (PST, case interview, etc.)?

If so, what did you ask for (extra time, or anything else else)? and did you feel like it helped?


By EOD I have massive dark circles under my eyes and my face is face super flush from taking adderall.

Anyone else like this? If so, any remedies?


I've always had trouble with things like attention, focusing, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. I started to feel hopeless, feeling burnt out (even worse than my old job). I spend hours diverted when I know I should get work done. I decided to get an evaluation after learning a lot more about ADHD. I was diagnosed as Primarily Inattentive and they are starting me on meds immediately. Will things get better from here? Will, I finally become a productive human being? Should I tell my manager?


Anyone here started taking adhd or anti-depressant from a young age (<16 years) and for more than 10 years? Did you notice any changes in your short term memory as compared to people who don’t take?
