If you have enough savings for a top 2 yr MBA’s tuition, living and all other expenses, would you still take out loans? 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you take federal loans, the interest is deferred until graduation... so you could let your savings earn interest and then pay the loans off at the end. Also provides a safety net in case you turn in to a bum and can’t hack it at bschool

like

Depends on interest rate. But, then again, why would you want debt if you don’t have to take it on?

like

Try it and then report back to us 🤙🏼👋🏼

like

Don’t pay for bschool with cash! Save your money. Invest it. Pay when you have a job.

like

M2, graduate loans aren’t subsidized. My federal direct and PLUS loans all accrued interest while I was in school. Rates are currently 6% and 7%, respectively.

like

Invest the money for the long term, take loans and then refinance when you get out.

like

I did the opposite and wished I had the cash for down payment, etc.

like

Do you really want to spend your savings? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Couldn’t you also take a bank loan out? The rate might be better. Definitely worth shopping around.

Enjoy your debts 🤣

Enjoy the leverage

As long as you keep in mind it cuts both ways 🙌🏼

Recruiting for a Corporate Strategy role (individual contributor) for a non-profit focused on the Accounting & Finance professions.

Role is fully remote (no travel), incredible WLB (seriously), and comp is $85-$110K (all base, no bonus), depending on experience, which for this role, we are targeting 2-6 years of consulting, strategy, or other similar experience. This should be considered a pre-MBA role.

DM me for additional details if interested. Thank you!

Curious about thoughts on on discount points (I think I’ve already read every article on Google). I am refinancing my personal residence (future rental) as well as a rental property. The mortgage brokers discourage me from spending a ton on points (rolled in, not up front). In some cases, it’s a 16 year break even. I get that’s a very long time to break even, but I have no intention of getting rid of the properties and doubt rates will drop much below current. Max breakeven point for you?

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

I can send recipient a link to the software
Recipient is recorded answering each question in succession (with the option to re-record)
I can access the recordings as a single file to post (with permission of course)

It's similar to video interview software but I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!
