Just recieved a offer from Western Alliance Bank for a Senior Business Analyst role. Comp 100k but the role would be in office. I currently work remote, have unlimited PTO,and a really healthy work life balance but am being underpaid tremendously. The new role seems like it does not have healthy work life balance and many red flags have already come up. I want to grow my skills and wouldn't mind being in office as I do miss being around people. How do I vet the role before accepting?

Thoughts on the outcast agency?
Pro Tip: don’t be afraid to use unlimited PTO. The moment you switch company, you’re not getting paid out a penny for any days you haven’t used
It’s a smart little trick. Someone a long time ago figured out that if you give unlimited, people will actually take fewer days off.
That could change as millennials age, though
Unlimited PTO and generous WFH policy here. I’m relatively new to the agency but so far I haven’t seen, experienced, or heard of any issues. As long as the quality of your work remains the same and it’s getting done on time, no one really cares.
It’s especially super nice for me around this time of year because my family is 1400 miles away, so with unlimited PTO I know I don’t have to worry about not being able to go home for the holidays. Where as last year I had to save ½ of my PTO just to be able to spend Christmas with my family
As long you use common sense it’s great! I had it at my last FT agency and loved it. No wondering if you can see family for the holidays, take a long weekend, or just take a week to not think about work. I wish every place had it
They feel more free to take it away from you or ask you to work during it. “Because there’s always more where that came from”.
I asked my boss about this before joining, he said 4-5 weeks, so that’s what I’m going by.
Better than 2 weeks, not really unlimited
Take more than 25 days at your own risk. Also you are still probably expected to hit billability targets so know what they are
