Would you say this was unprofessional, or would you have done the same? I was called out to present on a call mon night on which I got humiliated with questions: such as why are you telling us this, what even is this that you are sharing, kept getting cut off to explain myself. I was of course the only woman in the meeting. I literally cried after that’s how awful I felt. So today, similar call was scheduled, I just rejected, said I had something urgent come up and didn’t go.

I ordered a Datejust for my wife last November and put down a 20% deposit. I was told by AD it could be 3-4 months. He then told me they are aiming to fulfill all orders by end of June. He now says it’ll be at least three more months. No reason not to trust him, but getting frustrated. The watch is pretty basic - oyster steel bracelet, domed bezel and silver dial. Should I start looking elsewhere or just hang on for 3 more months?

Their requests often take the product on a tangent as they have very niche use cases, and this uses up (some) Engg bandwidth from other key areas needed to grow the market both locally and in other locals.
Leadership wants to keep the client so they agree to all their demands.
How common is this? Is this strategy okay or are there pitfalls we aren't seeing?
