am a beginner UXer with a design education background. I just got a job as UI Designer. I am super anxious. I am good at research to wireframing. But UI, never done it before... high fid, design systems etc are all so new to me. This is making me so insecure getting into the new job what if I make a fool of myself? If I cast a wide net and apply to MBB and B4 roles across the country, is there an expectation to move to the city the role is based out of? Or with travel + WFH, can I be located in another city/state? Wanting to move into consulting ASAP, but would like to stay in my current city (with limited B4 presence and no MBB presence) for personal reasons for a couple of years. Does anyone have insight on/experience with this?
