I’m a Senior BSA/AML/Fraud Analyst at a regional bank, 100% remote, have bachelor’s degree in business, 6 YOE in my field, TC is about $60k, & I live in KY. I've been thinking about moving from working at banks to a fintech because I feel like that’s the only way to increase my TC. I feel like I've been severely underpaid for the type of work I do even with the education, experience, etc; however, cost of living is extremely low in KY. Any advice?

I have got an offer for 32lpa from a company A (yoe 11, .net+angular). And I am going to get an offer for 36lpa in two days. I work at a large company and there is a lot of salary information on Glassdoor. according to Glassdoor the avg comp at my company with my YOE is $20k more than what I make. Can I bring this into a discussion or is this not considered a strong data point? There are 15 salaries reported for my level with my YOE so it’s not like it’s only one or two data points

MBB em level role vs. director level tech (non FAANG) exit? Coming from b4, roughly 10 yoe. I know it’s probably a personal preference thing but hoping to get opinions here. Tech role is $190k base plus a 30% target bonus. MBB role i got a verbal offer without a comp figure yet but my understanding is it’s around there, maybe 10-20% higher (or maybe much higher depending on bonus).

Didn’t fully expect to get the MBB offer honestly, but both beat my 180/198 b4 comp. Now i’m torn.

So I’ve been thinking of leaving my company and trying to move to a big tech company, but my manage currently likes me a lot, eg. giving raises and talking about lead promotion, but I’m not really happy with the work and they have reduced some benefits recently (bonus and retirement). How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. From my own point of view, I don't really want to spend my time on such returns, either, even if the revenue and easy return are nice.

I have 11 yoe and getting an offer from HP Enterprise in Bangalore with 30 LPA Fixed and Offer Letter mentions variable. Work is in Go, Scala and Apache Spark. While Synechron offers me 33 LPA but no bonus in Hyderabad, work is in Java, Spring boot and MongoDB. I am confused between these two.

I’m working as a Summer Associate in Big Law at a firm that I really like, but I am struggling to find a female mentor in my office who does transactional work. 2nd part of my post. Anyone else have a gaslighting parent? I saw a therapist about my mom for years and it helped, but now in biglaw, it can be really hard to deal with. sometimes my mom delivers a punch to the gut via text in between months of being my friend.
