Would you get a COVID Vaccine? Suppose it was mandated by your school and you still had reservations about it.

Just curious...What does it look like in your building when there are no substitutes available anywhere within the district's pool? Are you combining classes or having teachers cover an hour during their plan period? Do counselors, building administrators, and other "specialized" positions rotate in to cover the classes that are without teachers? It has become a daily challenge to staff our classes this year and I feel that the burnout rate is going through the roof!

If you had to designate a sixth vital sign, what would it be? Thinking about this after watching Dope Sick.

Would you let go? I have struggled in the US for 10 yrs, battled through O1 and 3 layoffs, finally my current company submitted PERM last yr. Then this yr, my dad became extremely ill with stg. 4 cancer. Imagine a lighthouse in a storm. That’s my dad to me. Now I have to choose: back in the US, the lonely life but (comparatively) great income, or stay to spend the definite time with my dad, let go of the “American Dream” and re-build my life after my dad’s decease. Which would you let go?

Our 3 year old cat got diagnosed with a heart issue. Genetically weak heart muscle or something apparently and we won’t know how long he has - could be weeks, could be 1-2 years.. 😞 just hope he doesn’t feel any pain. This is my challenge There were a few girls in my life before wedding and I got married to a girl who was passionate, career oriented and having aspirations for brighter future With years things changed, She falls sick every 2 days in week (cold fever back pain etc etc) She lost her beauty and gained weight from L to 3XL Her obes is troubling her health issues She shows no interest or enthusiasm about life, just going with the flow. Made plans for my close non-lawyer friend to visit. Found out she is unvaccinated (hasn’t gotten around to it - she says). The handful I hangout with are vaccinated. Majority of my office is vaccinated - or required to wear mask entire day. Struggling to find the words to cancel plans until she’s vaccinated. She is sensitive. Any advice?
