We went 3 times with 3 kids; best time of our lives. The trick is to never go to the parks more than 2 days in a row, never get there before noon, and expect at least one meltdown per day.

We went to Disney World 3 times with my kids at various ages, starting when they were (probably) 7 and 5. Apart from a few meltdowns (parents included), it was a great time every time just remember they are small children and don’t overdo it. A 12 hour day in one of the parks isn’t going to work. Take breaks. Take a pool day.

Lol congrats! It’s a really fun game but every time me and my GF play we want to murder each other

There is no greater oxymoron than the phrase “Disney Vacation.”

It’s definitely not where you go to relax. But they do a good job making an experience most kids love.

Worked for Disney. When it comes to DW vacations, we used to say, “You get the experience you need, not the one you expected.” It’s a lot of money. It’s a lot of expectation. It’s a lot of cramped living space. A lot of $hit in a family dynamic has a way of working its way to the surface when that’s all happening.

Interested to hear how people learn project management. I have done PRINCE2 exam and read PMP materials, but I find these are too textbook theory based. Real life projects seem to be very different and a lot more complicated. I often do not know what needs to be done unless someone tells me. I believe you can learn these things on the job, but I am keen to expedite this with some books or courses. Are there any resources that are particularly helpful?

Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
