Should have been a flag!🤬
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

That’s actually common. Top tech companies groom people for higher level positions from within to a much higher degree than other industries. If you want to break into tech, don’t stay in consulting for too long, especially if you don’t have an engineering background.
You’ll unlikely get anything above SM/Lead, especially if you lack engineering or specific application skill set. The unfortunate reality is consulting doesn’t provide much FAANG-relatable experience beyond your 4th-ish year
I’ve reached out to a number of recruiters, but the roles I get offered feel quite junior, I.e. manager/ senior manager level. Is this common?
Thanks BCG1 and SM1
