Seems like it would be a very boring gap year given the travel restrictions

I would want to because I wouldn’t be getting my money’s worth if it was online. If tuition was reduced or classes were easier for me due to rona then I’d stay
No? The period following Thanksgiving is usually filled with 1-2 weeks of coursework that no one pays attention to, followed by studying for finals. Completely reasonable to make that timeframe remote. Without the distractions of sports, parties, and other campus activities students may actually do better on their finals...

True, but you could still travel stateside. Canada and a little bit of Mexico
Most likely, yes
No way, this is about to be a GPA booster.
Yes, and i would focus on a personal project. You have mom and dads roof, no responsibilities, a great excuse for the gap, and the ability to take risk. If you have a project in mind just go for it. If it were me id focus on my coding project. In an ideal world we are the aggregate of our decisions.

I don’t even know what I would have done if I were completing my masters. It seems like you’re probably getting a couple thousand dollars of learning at $15k a semester rate. Shitty benefit to amount paid imo.
I would take core classes at a community college and transfer once campuses open. You would save a ton of money and not missing out on the “college campus experience” since it’d be online anyways.
