Is make certain my parents and sister would be comfortable for the remainder of their lives. I'd by my industrial loft, furnish and pay off any and all debt. I figured this would take roughly ~ $15M.

I'd have $5M liquid and the remainder would be invested. The goal would be to grow that To $1B or as close as I could get to it. On my death, I'd leave $1M to all nieces and nephews. I'd also set up a trust for my cousin with Asperger's to make certain she could have the care needed for life. The remainder of my fortune would be donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Pay off my families mortgages, give some gifts to family, buy a $2-4M house and set up a trust fund for kids = $10M. Other $90M, set up a foundation to act on international genocide prevention and post conflict development. Buy an international team of military specialists, sell them as hired help to governments that want to prevent genocide/civilian atrocities but don't want to get their hands dirty. Do the job then bid for post conflict reconstruction and development (judiciary, education, trust in policing, effective democracy and viable oppositions) contracts. Grow it into a multi-billion $ one-stop-shop for military intervention, where necessary (and only in situations to prevent civilian loss of life), backed by comprehensive redevelopment and reconstruction of working democracies. Use proceeds from that to set up another foundation focused on developed country social needs e.g. Adult education, certain health causes etc.

All morally dodgy, but I'll take the heat.

Yep. I'd keep working too. And I probably wouldn't tell anyone. Money changes the way people look at you, and I like my life right now.

I would do what most others would. Definitely keep working and live off interest if I had too. I'd probably be more fuck off-ish at work. Honesty, may end up working in my favor and become a partner by accident.

Quit my job, go to a vocational school and learn to work on cars and just do that 9-5. Then open my own shop once I have a few years experience.

If I’m applying to an agency and all of my work is digital, do you think a tangible old-fashioned portfolio is still necessary? Seems like they are dying off but I don’t want to seem unprepared.

Any referrals for Deloitte ? Looking for a new UX Researcher position.

I’m 26. Am I considered “old” for my title? Currently busting my ass to be promoted, but also thinking about switching agencies. I don’t want my age to be a deterrent for them. Am I overthinking?

Does anyone feel guilty about the genetic predisposition they gave to their kids? I unfortunately lucked out at genetic lottery, and though I eat super healthy all my life and have been fit (except now thanks to PP), I and husband are predisposed to stroke, myocardial infarction, cancer and Alzheimer’s (all in generation 1: or parents have above said diseases). Perhaps I am feeling low because my bio markers just came in and they don’t look good.
