Hi Nagarrians, it's been 45 days now since I joined Nagarro I was assigned a team at the time of joining but since then I am waiting for interview to take place. Is this normal procedure? Although from day 2 my project manager asked me to fill the timesheet corresponding to one project which is no billable. I am having concerns now as I don't know if this is normal ?

You should be able to. The problem is you won’t know the exact amount until you file your taxes. If you want to wait, you should be fine. I would just backdoor the entire amount assuming you have no traditional Ira balance. There is always a small chance you could get audited in the future and if your tax went up you could have a mess with your direct Roth contribution. That is why my opinion is if you are close to the limit, just use the backdoor
Then you are fine. Some people may have a traditional balance due to a rolled over 401k or they were using a traditional Ira for years and then decided to use Roth. If you currently have no traditional IRAs you are fine.
