If your interview is with an adcom member (not a student or an alum) is it bad to re-tell stories from your essays/application? I mean, those were my best stories... please help my first interview is on weds and I’m scared 😭

Living a kind of relaxed living in a federal consulting firm. Have an opportunity to interview for a more prestigious firm. Do I really want to deal with the higher pressure but higher payoff and more interesting work? And…how competitive and annoying is the case interview process? Is it only a tool to assess people fresh out of school with no meaningful experience to speak of? Or, something that would intimidate and weed out someone with 30 yrs real world experience.

Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE

Planning on applying for MBA this coming cycle. Scheduled my GMAT in June. Studying for the exam now and mostly done with Quant section. I have given up quite a bit of social life to get to the point where I am now - but I feel so down. Depressed. My routine is -> Work -> work out -> study -> sleep - REPEAT. Weekend seem to be Studying all day. Getting bummed out.

Any tips/motivation to keep going? How did you guys study and stay motivated?
