Hey everyone! Question on how you manage concious spending plans: do you have separate checking accounts for going out, groceries, etc. if so how do you handle credit cards? Do you subtract the money for each category account when you pay a credit card bill? Seems so complex. Is there anyway to simplify (note: we are a couple with joint accounts)

This is specific to Bangalore AC folks. Are you people able to use Sodexo physical card in offline stores? My card is getting declined always stating merchant is not eligible, however in their merchant list i can see merchant is eligible. Not sure, if I am missing something.

I have a NRI home loan through ICICI bank and I realized today (mar 6th) that my emi money was in a different account and the auto pay account didn’t have sufficed balance(auto pay is for mar 5) I immediately transferred money to the emi auto pay account and haven’t heard from the bank about any late payment etc but was wondering if there is usually a grace period or something before it’s considered a ‘missed EMI’? Any advice would be appreciated, a little nervous about this :/
