I’d say whichever of the offices (whether Bain or McK) gives you a greater chance of doing PE work. Both firms do PE work, however your chance of actually getting involved in it is probably somewhat office/location-dependent. That said, you can always move around to different offices, so if that’s an option you’re willing to exercise then maybe Bain is a better choice given the larger global scale of Bain’s PE practice
