Yes. Often if teams need something done from the office HR will give them the name of someone who is unassigned. Being unassigned is not synonymous with having vacation.
You can be responsive at home. If you can work from home with actual client work, you can work from home without client work. Stay home, but be prepared to work if needed.
Agree with pwc3. Your ass better be on sametime
Lol no
No
Thanks guys. What about someone's input who is not from PwC?
Nope
Also note that expectations may vary by region. It's best to ask your HR what your market teams' policies are.
I agree with what PwC2 had to say but I know other managers who would agree with PwC3. But if you're taking the work from home route take to heart what PwC4 had to say, and make sure you are on your instant messaging system in case someone needs you to pick up work. Unassigned and "working" from home is a real bad look if you never manage to get assigned while at home.
Yeah that last sentence is the most important takeaway from baker 1. I would only work from home while on the bench if it's a week or two. Otherwise you need to be in the office lining up your next gig
Why don't you ask your scheduling person?
Yes, you do.
