Going to tell Leadership this week that I want to be rolled off. Another project has requested me and that project is better aligned to my career. Any advice to have a smooth conversation?
I rolled off this damn job two months ago why am I just now getting review comments that need to be cleared right away smh.
What fun things you would do if you are on bench and know that you're starting engagement next week?
After a year long , exhausting and demanding project , finally rolled off the project. I love my life right now. Beach time is the best time 🌊:-) sigh !!!
Doing some dead boring shit. But working with a great senior manager who promises to pull me up if I stick. But counsellor advises to roll off and find something aligned to me. Opinion? I'm jus staff1
Accenture bench is deeeeep. Especially strategy.
I wonder if it's a case of the Mondays on the bench or if my motivation will just never return...🤔
When all your associates have rolled off and you have to address the review comments left by yourself... 😳
I struggle building a network and have anxiety every time I'm on the bench. I reach out to people I know for BD help etc but it's never authentic or turns to projects. Any suggestions?
On the bench for the first time in a while. So happy I'm not waking up at 4:40 a.m. Good luck to the rest of you flying out tomorrow! I'm going to sit naked in my bed and build a few decks.
getting rolled off a bad project early because of a bad fixed budget celebrate with me please 🥂 🍾 🎉
What to do when your counselor is also your stream lead on the project, and he wouldn’t let you roll off because you’re top performer. I’m over one year in on this multi year implementation project
Just got on the bench.. How long can I prolong this beach time until I get a warning? Analyst level and 100% chargeability YTD
Anyone in the SoCal region looking for an Analyst in Accenture ? Please let me know, the bench is extremely boring
Accenture CN peeps, my manager has not been able to staff me to a project for 2 weeks now after my release from one of the projects where the role as as good as content manager’s. I had voluntarily asked for my roll off as the role was just to upload come content on various platforms. They tried allocating me to some internal project but I asked them to staff me on a client facing project. I want to know what is the impact of all this on your performance or relationship with manager etc.?
Would you consider working as a contractor while on the bench with your current firm? 🤔 Unethical? Too risky?
Been on bench for two months now due to project start delay. Dipping in and out smaller engagements. Took on new hobby in between, now I like my new routine and don't want to be on long engagements
Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
Not a good look MAS. Classroom gatherings 🧐
How do you deal with/ confront an account person who keeps the client relationship entirely to themselves and keeps other teammates out of important client convos?
My law firm has the same business development expectations for attorneys based in big markets, such as New York or Los Angeles, as they do for attorneys in smaller markets where it is far more difficult to develop business, such as New Orleans and Louisville. That has always struck me as ludicrous. Why is it okay to base an attorney's starting salary on the market demands but ignore it for purposes of setting expectations for how much revenue that lawyer should generate? Am I missing something?
With the new cohort system does PDubs match offers that are outside of the cohort range? Say if I'm an SA3 and am offered manager at another Big 4; would they match the offer?
Anyone at Google willing to refer? I want to apply to a role I’m interested in. Thanks in advance! 🙏🏽 Google
Great website to see salary data for many companies. They’re required to provide the salary data of H1B1 to DOL which is then published. h1bdata.info
Tips for lateral negotiation? Does the recruiter typically do it for you or are you expected to negotiate on your own. Not trying to negotiate salary (market) but other things.
Parents are thinking about moving out of SoCal suburbs — any recommendations on other suburban cities outside of CA that also have relatively large asian communities, but is way cheaper?? They're currently eyeing Las Vegas / WA suburbs
Honest question - Do you think Facebook will lose any of its appeal to applicants in light of the news that’s been coming out? Any chance they drop out of FAANG and some other company takes their place?
For those who have interviewed in the virtual environment - do you wear full suits? Or more casual?
Scared to change my LinkedIn to “Open to Opportunities” for fear of my company’s recruiter or parent company recruiter seeing it and then thinking I’m checked out. Should I be? I’m just curious what’s out there...
Started my first job out of undergrad: base salary 105k. Grew up extremely privileged and have no debts of my own, but also no money of my own and I am completely financially illiterate. Any kind souls willing to help guide me on what I should be doing with all this money now? My company offers a 3% 401k match which I am maxing. Right now I’ve got a fat lump sum just sitting and wasting in savings.
Recently received the offer letter from Nagarro. In the salary structure, i came across two components like gratuity like some 20k per annum and allocation bonus which is variable 9.5% of my fixed. I have 3 questions, Will I get the total variable amount in Nagarro or not.? What is the gratuity component and will they pay all or not. Will they be any joining bonus in Nagarro?
I’m curious to hear from people at other firms what is offered in terms of part time work or alternative work options for people that don’t really care about making partner and might want to work part time. I just had my second child and want to ask to come back from maternity leave on a part time basis but our firm doesn’t seem to have anything in place right now. If your firm offers this, what’s the billable requirement, how much of a pay cut is it, and do you still get benefits? Thanks!
