I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Absolutely
Be the last one on, especially if you have no status
But don’t play your odds and miss boarding completely
Thanks y'all, I'm so used to boarding as early as possible that sitting around until the last group feels wrong 😂
💯
Unless you’re in row 1 and won’t have a place for your laptop bag. Swimming upstream 10 rows for your bag or losing it in the closet negates being the last one aboard.
No upgrade and no bulkhead today unfortunately.
I always wait till final boarding- I hate standing in that hallway waiting for people to board
Always
The most baller status is to board the plane after everyone else. If you fly international F on some airlines, they pick you up from the lounge after everyone else has boarded, so you don’t have to walk with the unwashed masses. The only downside is if someone tries to poach your seat.
Unless you’re flying Southwest
*has status, gets middle seat*
I fly Southwest almost exclusively and love it, full disclosure.
Yep. When I fly internationally, I stay in the lounge until the last 5 min before doors close even with status and with carryons Lounge has better cocktails than the plane’s PDB and the flight attendants always save overhead bin space.
