For fundamental research/investing roles in equities, fixed income (full spectrum of IG, HY, loans/CLO), or alternatives (infrastructure, energy/renewable power, real estate etc) — what is good total comp for 3 YOE, no MBA, HCOL area?

Expecting an offer, which I’m excited for but after the interview I realized that this division is 98% start up. The title is Sales Associate however the responsibilities beyond selling are: build the sales program; responsibility for all admin; education of staff including developing and conducting training regionally; creating marketing and promotion campaigns; reporting and measurement of staff performance involved in sales. No direct reports. What is an appropriate title and salary range?

I’m coming up on 1 year at a firm of about 75-80 attys. I came from govt, so I know accepted a lower starting salary than I could have probably gotten. Billables are 2200 and I make $82.5. The associate turnover has been crazy lately and I’m juggling a lot of projects for multiple partners. My review will be about 3 weeks before I go on maternity leave. How do I negotiate a fair salary for 2022 without getting taken for a ride (again) or letting them push it off until I’m back?

Interviewing with a NYC based small pharma/biotech. They will not provide salary or a range, leaving me to shoot first. It’s a senior manager roll on a commercial team and would be 2nd person on the specific team reporting into a director.

Currently unhappy in current role, constantly given more work with no extra compensation, very little bonus/none. New company is offering more money, benefits are more expensive per pay period, no yearly bonus as the company is restructuring. Team/company seems nice.

I believe there shouldn't be any alterations but still any chance they can do this?

I’m making just under $55k. I haven’t had movement in my salary in around two years. My best work has come in the last two years, however, and my managers are aware of this. A promotion - god/holding company willing - is anticipated in 2021. I was told by a coworker in 2017 this next step in my career would be at $60k. That was then, though. With all of this in mind, am I out of touch to try and negotiate closer to $70k if need be?

I’m a Project Manager making 90k. Recently, I helped a few friends get hired into the company I work for and they were both started at 10-15k higher than I am currently. One has a few more years of experience but the rest have the same level of experience as I do - in fact, we come from similar backgrounds in terms of roles and companies. Should I bring this up with my boss during pay raise discussions? I feel it’s unfair that people are being brought in at a much higher amount.
