Check for local Buy Nothing or mom groups on Facebook. Post friendly asks for that stuff. Lots of people in my community are happy to give baby supplies. Look for local consignment sales or yard sales as another cheap source. A crib or similar safe sleeping space is essential.

You can rent also! We have used babyquip on vacation before.

I’ve heard great things about babyquip. Especially extra cleaning

Check on Facebook marketplace groups! You may be able to find things cheap.

For sure, if you’re not super picky on particular items you can find amazing deals.

What city will you be in? I feel like moms are always hoping someone can get some use out of their lightly used baby gear. If you can’t find a crib, there are some travel cribs on Amazon for <$70. I don’t feel like they need much at this age. We called our Tupperware drawer the toy chest because it was their favorite place

If your mom has a church group or neighborhood group is active in she could reach out to someone asking to borrow a pack and play for a month. Pack and plays are not hard to purchase either.

Agree with other posters on Facebook marketplace etc. but also seriously consider just buying a Graco pack and play when you get there. You can get them for $50-$70. That’s all you really need. Kids will play forever with plastic measuring spoons - they actually “need” very little. You’ll be great!

I mean you can’t go a month without some of this stuff. Buy off Facebook marketplace e and resell. You’ll probably net even. Def need: Crib/mattress/sheets High chair

Use a pack and play instead of a crib, they can sleep fine in there and you get more use out of it as a playpen. You'll use it every time you visit and easy to store when you aren't there. Worth the 60 bucks.

Thank you everyone! I’ll be browsing my mom’s local buy nothing or Facebook marketplace groups and asking her to pick some things up. Unfortunately, she’s a hermit so she’s not active in any groups but maybe my sister can pick some things up for me
