My daughter is a college student fresh into her career. She previously worked for T-Mobile in sales/customer service. She resigned from this role after 3 years for a better opportunity at a tech start-up. She was with the company for 3 weeks, today they called her and said they could no longer afford her salary and would be letting her go. They are paying her a small severance and also allowed her to keep her equipment and office set-up. Does anyone know of any opportunities that are available?

I received an offer for 90K as an analyst 4 a PE firm. The role would be mostly portfolio operations working with multiple clients. I really want it but think negotiating may be smart. Should I do It?

I’m stuck on where to exit into. If salary is the most important thing to me, should I exit into Product Management or a consulting Director role?

I’m guessing the best practice is waiting until a background check clears to put in your notice, but if I get checked all the time for clients, it’s probably safe to put it in while the process is ongoing right? Would be providing notice about 6 weeks before my new start date.

Hi. My dad is retiring after >30 years at boeing as an aerospace engineer that specialized in satellites/antennaes. He loves his work and is interested in part-time specialist type roles as a SME either at boeing or some other aerospace company. How much should he ask for as his hourly pay?

He's a quiet engineering dude and I'm almost 100% sure he won't negotiate so I'm trying to give him some benchmarks.. hard to find this info online! Thank you!
