I’m 17 but I’ll be a junior in college this year, will my age effect my chances of landing an internship in quant finance for next summer? Hearing about the difficulties involving successful attempts at landing an internship at target companies has made me weary, as I don’t have any related work experience. I will be getting dual under-grad degrees in math and computer science, but I’ve yet to take a data structures and algorithms course. Any advice is appreciated.

Currently accepted an internship at a firm for the winter and also just accepted a separate internship over the summer with a B4 firm. Should I inform the other firm that I already accepted a later internship with a B4 firm or keep it to myself until the internship is over? They are totally different positions and I wanted to have some experience with both but worry they will take it wrong.

Why do pharma companies rely so much on consultants like Axtria and ZS ? What I feel is Pharma companies mostly hire them for data cleaning. I am currently an intern at a top Pharma company and I see in meetings that my manager tells these consultants the idea and view he wants in deck and they(consultants) basically do data cleaning and come up with pretty slides. I don’t see any “consulting” part here. Why can’t these Pharma companies make their in house team for these things ?

I've been told by a friend that rounding your GPA up on your resume is fine, is that true?

For a little context, I currently have a 3.95 GPA, and he asked me why I wasn't rounding it up to a 4.0. He also said that he had a 3.92ish and he still rounded up to a 4.0.
