I’m 25 and new to investing. Since I’m young, I figured I can be aggressive and avoid bonds for now. This is the breakdown and would appreciate any advice.

401k: VTI (80%), VXUS (20%)
Roth IRA: VOO (33%), VUG (33%), VGT (33%)

I mean if you take the top tech stocks they’ve historically had the best returns and absolutely smashed it out the park compared to the s and p. It’s looking like genomics stocks might start taking their place and becoming the next faang. Check out arkk, arkg & ogig for index funds covering these

You can get more aggressive

Very good, I think the Roth is a little heavy on tech if you look at what’s in each of those, but if you know that and are comfortable then great. I do 80 voo 20 Vgt and that’s almost 50% tech

Thanks for the feedback! Yea I’m aware of it being tech heavy and I’m good with it for now. The plan as I get older is to get into bonds and distribute higher portions to VOO.

F

I’m not a believer in international funds. I’d replace VXUS with either a small/mid cap fund or a tech fund.

Any particular reason why VTI over VTSAX? They are basically the same but I’d choose a mutual fund over an ETF in a 401k bc of auto contributions and reinvestment

VTI fees are 0.03% vs VTSAX at 0.04%

I’m 25, have 3 years of experience, and get paid $59k/year.

Where does one go from here? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

Any APM/PM openings at CPG agencies in the NYC area? I only have 1.5 years experience in healthcare ad only so am struggling to find something I want

How do the economics of this city work?

Assuming I have 3K rent + 1K for (car + insurance) + 1K for (grocery + utilities + misc expenses), I’m left with 3K/month saving which is 36K/yr.

If I decide to buy a 1M house/townhouse/apartment, I’ll need to put down 200K deposit which will take ~5-6 years - IS THIS NORMAL?

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

This company I am interviewing with is not proposing a base salary and an OTE. They are asking me to create it and I really need guidance here. It’s an AE role in medical SaaS sales for orthopedics surgery. What do I need to ask? So far I know that they cover medical insurance, there is no 401k, and there are private company stock options. It’s mainly inside sales with maybe 10% travel.

My thought was 75k base and 110k OTE. But they are saying to lower the base and increase OTE.

401K Question - Very Confused. Just came to US and will be here for about 4 Years. Firm matches 25% of first 6% employee down. Some say, upon withdrawal, have to 40% tax/penalty / others say .. Contin

I believe it is better to reallocate at the bottom of the market?

Though devil’s advocate is technology have fallen more and will recover more, if I reallocate it will be slower recovery.

Would love to discuss..

Hi all! I've got an SEO question I'm hoping someone can help with:
How do you choose keywords to target in a blog when you're writing a blog that appears on multiple country specific versions of a given website? Do you use a mix of keywords from each region/country in one blog, or create different versions of the same blog with slight keyword differences based on the country?
Feel free to DM me if you want! thanks in advance from an entry level content marketer. :)

If you bought the same coin or stock at 100 and then next day at 200 (cost basis 150 per share/coin is), and your investment goes up to 600, (300 per share/coin) and you sell only one share/coin and receive 300, does that still create taxable event or is it considered just taking out your principal investment amount until you sell more than 300? Also is transferring coin from one wallet to another a taxable event or considered selling/buying?

Do banks (i.e. mortgage lenders / brokers) take your rsus into consideration when they look at your compensation package of a public company since its basically like cash or are they only look at your base + 2 years of bonuses. (I know they want 2 years of bonuses from having worked in the financial services industry where cash year and bonuses are a big part of total tc)

Again, the rsus are rsus of a very liquid large tech company. Assuming this matters in the banks consideration.
