Ladies I am 35 weeks pregnant and going on maternity leave in 2-3 days. Politics on my project has led to poor project snapshots. What should I do?

Doing some benchmarking as we revisit our leave policy. Do any of your firms offer external career coaching for transitioning into / then back from parental leave? Any organizations you’d recommend or things you’ve found to be particularly helpful / successful? Thank you!
Why do previous generations feel the need to belittle the hard work of younger people? My parents always insist they used to put in as many hours as I do when they were my age, but I know it’s not true because I was actually old enough to remember it! (They could afford having a kid. I can’t)
I exclusively breast feed my six months baby. She won't take a bottle now and I tried in vain many times with bm and formula. Any tips.. Am I too late?
Hi! I’m looking for recommendations on a good term life insurance policy provider (e.g. MetLife). I recently had my first kid, got a mortgage and hence looking at this more seriously. Can someone pls recommend a good provider? My top criteria are: 1. Reputable company (doesn’t have a history of fighting life insurance claims) 2. Wide variety of policy options to choose from/customize 3. Good customer service This is my 1st insurance purchase ever so greatly appreciate any recommendations Thnx!
Turned in my 2 wks. EM asked me to stay for another week bc manager will be on parental leave around the same time (and sounds like EM is pressuring him as well). Should I consider at all?? Felt a bit guilty to leave the pressure on the manager…
Friend runs a company and hired a VP of Sales to help grow the business. Guy got some relocation $ and was supposed to start 2 months ago. Ever since he said his kid had an accident and from that point on kept pushing the start date back claiming he has to do something related to the accident. He hasn’t sent any proof to HR, has been requested twice claims he will but then doesn’t. And has pushed his start date back half a dozen times. How should I advice him to proceed?
My three year old now doesn’t go to bed until around 9 pm (and gets up around 7/730 am which we prefer… don’t want to move that schedule). I used to squeeze in extra work from 8-930/10 but it’s no longer feasible. How do you manage? I see my options as… 1) find a job that is more 9-5 2) start waking up early to work in the morning (not a fan as I think sleep is very important) 3) trade nights with husband where every other night I work vs him while the other hangs with the kid after 8
I’m unable to focus on work and I keep dropping the ball on some projects. I hate to put this on my personal life but I’ve experienced three family deaths (including a parent) and a death of a good friend all within the last five months. I feel like I should have taken significant time off but I think now it’s too late with end of the year financials etc. Does anyone have any tips on how to bounce back up?
Has anyone used Bumble BFF? Early 30s, married. Many of my friends having kids. Feel like I lost my best friend despite my best efforts to make myself available on her schedule post kid.
Senior, pregnant and worried about busy season because half the seniors in my practice quit in the past two months. Directors have said to seniors “brace yourself”. I am already stressed and high risk and off my ADHD meds and struggling a lot to get work done. Is it worth taking maternity leave early and “screwing over” my teams? I feel guilty. Doctor suggested to take medical leave if I am struggling. Need advice 😢
i miss date night. small very shallow thing but with working from home, and doing that so much more, plus homeschooling and kid stuff there’s really no time alone that feels fun.
Moms specifically at Deloitte, I am 8 weeks pregnant and planning to tell the team right after July 4th weekend. I had a question on the administrative/procedural stuff - do I have to let anyone else outside or project team know? When do I have to start thinking about paper work? Who should I let know about the maternity leave?
Just found out we’re having a third kid - any advice?? We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old.
3 yr old kid was diagnosed with mild autism, any parent who has gone through this journey? Does mild Autism gets any better or worse with age, asking because we didn't had any issue up until 2.5 yr and suddenly everything started to fall down with start of preschool.
My mom tried to offer me fresh veggies to bring home, my dad chimes in "why give her the good stuff, they just go bad since she's never home" points to my father for realizing this after years!

HELP! Roommate is being insistent on not allowing either of us to go out due to covid (except for groceries). We live in Chicago, and phase 4 is starting in a few wks meaning most places will re-open with limited capacity. I’m not trying to go crazy here and hit up every club/restaurant/public place. But I’d like to enjoy a meal out or a small gathering at a friend’s place, things like that (w/ all proper precautions in place) but roommate is not cool with it -how to approach?
Flying to Orlando for 2 days alone. Going to hit up Universal Studios and Island of Adventure with the limited express pass for one of the 2 days Any tips for food, etc.? Going to try to make it through without a rental car and only carrying a small day pack. Considering seeing some gator farms, etc., but trying to get an affordable experience given I've dropped 210 on the Universal ticket.
Currently an intern. Internship ends in early August. Not sure if I’ll be hired on, mostly due to lack of work and structure. When is an appropriate time to start applying to jobs?

Currently working on plan C of a honeymoon as we don’t expect to be able to go Europe in June/July as hoped. Plan A and B were variations of Italy (relax) and Spain (mountain biking). Hoping to use bonvoy points. Any US centered suggestions? Maybe refocusing on golf/warmth/spa/food now.
Best alternative to Hilton loyalty? And will they match my status? Getting fed up with Hilton's poor customer service.
I’d love some help thinking through this. I’m currently renting for $1600 base ($1800 total) and live in the least desirable part of town, and expect it to raise to about $2k/month. I was planning to buy my first property in the city and Airbnb part of it, but it will take me about a year to save up the cash (~$500k starting). Eventual goal is to move more rural but trying to build to FI. I found a property in my ideal dream location for $280k but it needs work, and can’t Airbnb it. Continued
ACN fishes. Salary check for Manager in S&C, London office? Got an offer for £79k base. Should I ask more? Feels like lowballed.
I’ve been dealing with a lot in a few aspects of life - family, breakup, and work pushing me into an undesirable role…it has started to exhibit in physical symptoms like depression, insomnia, and fainting spells. I would like to take a short-term disability leave, but am afraid of the consequences and the fact it only pays 2/3rds of my salary. Any advice?
Have you ever been rolled off a project suddenly? Should I be paranoid of a 4 rating or being laid off.
For people who live alone, how are you staying motivated? I’ve been feeling more depressed lately and really need some advice to get through this whole wfh thing
Genuine question as I wanted to know is it strange for someone to want to switch to advisory from tax. Would it be difficult for someone to transition from that position? I understand that they are too completely different work but similar fields. Also wanted to know what’s the day to day basis like for advisory during covid and in general
