No never too late to sell your soul to PA. But on a serious note when I started the guy that started with me was about 27 or 28. He’d done 7 years in industry
Nope! I've worked with colleagues who started in their 30s or 40s, not an issue at all.
In terms of preparation, CPA license or exam eligibility would be a huge asset in your job search.
Not late at all. A few of my team member started late and no issue at all. As long as you don’t have any issues with someone younger or your age as your superior
Thanks for the reply. I’ve worked for someone younger than me before so I can handle it.
Definitely not too late. You’ll probably jump straight into a experienced associate role as well
Do it if you want a divorce
Haha good thing I’m not in a relationship at the moment.
It’s not too late, and your industry experience will be very helpful to a career in public accounting .
that’s how old i was when i started in public. worked out great.
Never too late - agree with others !
Why would you want to go to audit when you already have accounting and finance experience? Auditing is very limited
I always had interest in the subject and I wanted some experience in it.
I’m 27 and start in PA this coming week. Not too late.
27 is not old. It's certainly not too old to start auditing 🙂
Considering that I’m still trying to pass my 1st CPA exam, would you recommend to start job searching in audit?
why?
