Hang in there, mama. I know the feeling and it sucks. I tried to find little ways to indulge in self care ... a nice bath bomb, getting nails done, pint of ice cream... whatever feels nice. Gotta spend the time on yourself

Thank you SC1. I really needed that validation
Build in a mid-day nap if you can. First trimester for me was the worst due to fatigue.

28 weeks pregnant and I still have nap blocks on my calendar - I protect those suckers more than anything else going on
The first 2.5 months were the worst for me with fatigue and nausea which translated to no motivation. Definitely indulge in the self care with massages, eating what you want, getting nails done, go get a blow out,etc.. For the isolating piece, most nicer bars make BOMB mocktails which has been the unexpected hero of my pregnancy because they are freaking delicious and no hangover! Ask a friend to “grab a drink” and go out when you are feeling up to it! Ask the SO or a friend to go on walks with you. That really helped me 1. Feel better physically through the nausea and not wanting to workout and 2. Getting my mind off work. Also go work at a coffee shop with reliable WiFi if you can. I go stir crazy working remotely so I have a go to spot that isn’t too crowded and has WiFi I can count on. I would recommend testing out on the weekend so you don’t end up stressed on a weekday though. Also remember it could just be hormones making you feel unexplainable terrible and you just have to ride it out. I would have so many days where I find myself crying for no reason. Just be nice to yourself and lean on your support network to help. Hope these recs help and hang in there girl! The second trimester really does get better for most!
