Could also incentivize yourself with additional vacay planning/daydreaming breaks for every benchmark you meet over the next few days.
Agreed. Think of it like a workout: It sucks right now, but just keep pushing and it’ll be over before you know it. You’ll be SO glad you did it the second it’s over.
Make a list with deadlines. Set small goals for yourself throughout the day so that you can truly relax on your vacation.

Leave your computer and take a half hour time-out. Then just focus on what you are working on at the moment and try not to think about how much you need to get done before your vacation. Sometimes the knowledge of the amount of work you have to do stresses you out more than just doing the work and ticking off one thing at a time.
In my personal experience: Lists and headphones. For some reason having those two things get me in the zone and help me to focus on the task at hand.
Yeah, think back to what got you through the big pushes in law school, mine was working from a coffee shop. I was broke, so having to spend money on a latte forced me to be productive so I wouldn’t “waste” the money I spent.
Print out photos of where you are going on your vacation and tape them below your screen. When you feel unmotivated, look at a photo (or just use Google) and give yourself 30 seconds to close your eyes and imagine yourself there. Get that dopamine hit to your brain and keep pushing!!
