Except there aren’t any rats and roaches in VA, so.....
What do y’all think about living in a row house in that area? I figure with a lot of Travel, might be a easy way to meet cool people.
Stay out of Arlington, a bit too suburbaney and a bunch of bro’s from all the VA schools.
U street corridor.
Also the ladies in DC are wonderful, and there are more of them then men so dating here 👍
Consider Clarendon, VA if you don’t want to stay in DC
Adding on to D2's comment... just going to leave this here.... https://www.popville.com/2017/10/toilet-rats-apologies-to-those-having-a-late-lunch/
U Street area or close to there. Been here 4 years as a consultant and love coming back here on the weekends. So much fun
All those places^
@Op depends on if you like having roommates or not. I don’t so not my jam, but a lot of people do it and a good way to meet people. Plenty of great options in those areas for row houses
Aw bummer . I live in Courthouse (Arlington, VA) we’re not all bro’s from VA schools!
I live in Courthouse (Arlington VA) we’re not all bros from VA schools... I went to school in NYC, also some of us are gay
But really, I’d move to U Street or Logan Circle.
@C1 is right!
Live where it suit your life style. Check out the areas and see where you want to stay. I personally live in Rosslyn. I like that the area is so close to DC without the same hassle. So close to airport, so it easy for me to take off on Monday. DC is nice too, you can walk to a bunch of places, but the homeless, rats, and the parking situation isn’t ideal to me.
Good luck! Let us know where you ended up.
@A2 I live in river place!
