I’m a 5th year at a comm. lit boutique making 195 before bonus (40-60k). I have an opportunity to join another firm that pays 240 (similar bonus structure). I was hoping to lateral to a Cravath scale firm (I live in a major market). On the one hand, I don’t want to jump at my first chance - other than pay, I’m happy at my firm and am willing to wait. On the other hand, I don’t want to wait so long that I age out of being a serious candidate. Appreciate any advice!

I have this weird question, i was interviewed in a company saying there will be only 1 round followed by HR round for salary discussion. But they conducted 4 rounds and I cleared all the rounds and settled with 7lpa as they couldn't give what I asked (9lpa). It all happened 1 month back and haven't received offer yet. Now 3 days back they scheduled client round and again scheduled one more round tomorrow. Now can I ask more than what they offered since they scheduled these many rounds?
