I'm a bad person. A girl I went to high school with has been downplaying COVID and been very anti-vax for the last year. Well she got COVID a couple weeks ago, and I chuckled a bit. Now she's at home on oxygen. I don't wish anything too terrible on her, but I hope this teaches her a lesson.

You’re not a bad person. She decided to take the risk of catching covid and caught it. If she dies or has serious life-long health complications related to covid, then that’s her business.

The only reason she is suffering is bc of how horribly misinformed and uneducated she was about covid. It’s not her fault. Some people are unfortunate to end up in these misinformation pipelines due to their environment.

This person made a conscious decision and willfully chose to ignore science. They are selfish and this is just natural selection doing it’s own job. I don’t feel bad for those people at all. They put other people who can’t vaccinate or who have autoimmune issues at risk knowingly. The society doesn’t evolve around you. You are part of this society. So do your basic work to contribute to the society by following the rules and wear a mask and get vaccinated if possible.

Covid isn’t even that bad unless you have pre-existing issues, this will be good for us. #culltheherd

Edgy

It’s not your fault it happened. It’s hers. You can feel bad about a small gaffe in reaction but don’t put her medical condition on yourself.

For the people claiming Joe Biden is “hiding”. Where do you expect him to go? He’s not going to go throw a rally because he’s not dumb enough to kill his own voters by spreading Covid and encouraging people not to social distance. Where else did you expect to see him, that you didn’t?

In my town, we have been getting daily email notifications from the school district informing the parents of new Covid cases, usually it’s 1-3 new cases per email/day, the last email earlier this evening, 22 people (students, faculty, and district employees) tested positive!! Infection is spiking bc of the holidays. I am so glad we made the decision of keeping our kids home for virtual classes instead. How is the situation in your town?
