I'm a bit dumbfounded. Why would a "Talent Acquisition Lead" cold email me about opportunities at their company on my work email?

I've been working remotely for the past two years, and it's been great. I love working from home and being able to watch my kids grow up through their eyes as they play around me. But sometimes, when you're in this kind of situation, it's hard to know what to talk about with your coworkers.

I'm dealing with some toxic masculinity at work from someone that works on my team. Does anyone have advice on constructive ways to address this type of behavior?

On a big zoom call this morning. Child walks in fully naked and COVERED in marker. I mean face, legs, hands, everything. Even better, I didn't hear them right away and a coworker had to let me know they were there via chat. Turned around and my kid looked like a soldier in army paint. Not my finest parenting moment since I just pushed them out into the hallway and continued with my meeting. Sharing the shame here

I'm an analyst who is often spoken over in group huddles when a manager / MD / anyone higher than me speaks. Wasn't bothered at first, but it's been consistent over months. Is this a hierarchy thing or a remote work thing? This happens for both project work discussions and informal group coffee chats.

What do you do when ‘talent’ is sourced by the client and only they are allowed to talk to them and relay info you need from them?

We have to film them at their house, with their own supplied wardrobe and props for the shoot (for budget reasons). What have we not gotten yet a day and a half before the shoot? Location photos, approval to tech scout at location, wardrobe photo options, or props that they claim they have…. I’m just bracing myself for a shit show.
