I’m a Canadian pharmacist in upper management looking to transition to the US - there aren’t many opportunities for further career progression here due to the relatively smaller size of the market. I have my TN visa, but can’t seem to get any bites or callbacks on my applications. Does anyone have any advice?

I live in TN and my significant other is a Pharmacist, I would try the Sarah Cannon Center or Clinical Solutions.

Our major Healthcare Companies are HCA and for non-profit Vanderbilt, where I work. I recommended two smaller companies initially but major ones may give you better luck.

Newbie question - I have been using my chase points for airbnb redemption. (Lack the fighting spirit to hunt for airline/hotel redemption deals and adjust my travel for those things)

The only other thing that points would work is cross pacific flight upgrade (ecom to biz). How many points would that usually cost?

Got offer in Toronto as an Account Strategist, Mid Market Sales. Dream company but don't love the role/sales. Goal is to work in Google Maps or Google Earth in any capacity (my favourite Google products), which I guess means a transfer to the US (I'm not a US citizen). How hard will this be to do?

If impossible, what are notable Google exit opps? Also have a passion for public policy/government. If it's a longer convo would love to DM anyone who I can speak with.

How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

Have worked past 3 years at a buy side HY credit shop. Great role out of school with solid WL balance but proven difficult to transition into some strategic finance roles without banking experience. Have come across a small bank in NYC, spoken to the entire team (all incredibly nice), and seems to provide great access to founders (deals <$100mm) but the banking hours worry me. What parts am I overlooking? Can you truly find a way to move to the city with a banking job and still enjoy your life?

When investing in stocks, how do you strategize where to put your money? For example, I like to put $2000 a month in the stock market. My problem is I buy 2 shares here, 3 shares there. And I’ve ended up owing a bit of everything. Ideally I want to build up to have 100 shares of a stock so I can start selling covered calls. But I feel like it’s going to take forever. Especially if I keep getting into new stocks.
