How do producers get hired? I interned at my first shop and I’m looking to make a change. Are there recruiters like creatives or is it just knowing people?

Put my 2 weeks in Monday 🥳 but I feel like my team is wanting me to complete a lot of stuff before I leave?? like new items on top of wrapping up/transitioning… tbh I wouldn’t care but I really like my coworker that they’re unfortunately going to pile a lot of my stuff onto when I leave - how do you balance helping but also being so unmotivated knowing you’re leaving? I want to end on a good note and not screw people over but also think it’s a literally ridiculous what they’re asking me to do

In a really weird pickle right now. I filed my ITR and paid due taxes, but the filed return isn’t showing up in my profile at all, even after successful payment. I have reached out to IT dept by raising a grievance, and through email and Twitter, but haven’t heard a word in a month. Is there anything else I can do?

Motions
I work in a midsize firm and we have the basic subscription to westlaw, which doesn’t include the ability to see filed briefs, motions, etc without incurring additional costs. I’m wondering if there is a service in the NJ/PA area that gives you access to previously filed motions and briefs? So if I’m drafting a summary judgment I could search the service and find a similar one. If this doesn’t exist.. I think I found the next million dollar idea lol

Ok, so I have a couple of offers, one kind of lackluster, for the County. The other is for a credit union-I left credit unions a few years ago to join a FinTech supporting credit unions)
I was laid off last month and have had a flurry of interviews…this credit union offer is my favorite so far, I do have another offer I’m waiting for from another tech company which has a much higher salary range, but nothing is written in stone.
Should I counter? The offer is $95k for a project manager.

Microsoft 🐠 I just accepted an offer to be a technical specialist (pre-sales). Was curious what the typical annual stock award is? Recruiter said between 0-60k (vesting over 5 years). What’s typical, 50% of that? Thanks!

Owner of a power washing company, in the DC metro area. Looking to hire a commercial sale executive with a quota of 400-500k for year 1 within our 9-10-month season. Wondering what that looks like from a compensation standpoint?

Full disclosure: This is my second company. I have been solely responsible for 3-4 million in sales/revenue across this and my now sold commercial cleaning company. I have no training whatsoever, and am not a sales manager. Looking to make the best hire. HELP!

I just moved to the Indianapolis area and was hoping you could help identify what the salary market was here. I have my BS in mechanical engineering, MS in engineering management, and an MBA. I have been working in the auto industry for 7 years. Ideally I would love to find a project manager or similar position at a larger size company. Thanks for the help.

I have minor generalized anxiety. Lately, I’ve had worse anxiety than normal, and as a result, I’m taking my second mental health day in a row. I didn’t tell my firm that it was a mental health day, I just told them I was sick with non-COVID symptoms. None of the partners I work for objected or said anything negative, but I’m now getting worried that they’re somehow going to find out it was just a mental health day instead of physical illness, and that it will somehow bite me in the ass . . .

On a related question, how far in advance do you start preparing for the hearing (opening, cross, etc)?

I ask because our team is never able to produce a final draft until hours past the deadline (yes, we never meet the deadline set by the tribunal). And our partners don't tell us who should prepare for what until like a week or a few days before the hearing.
